Introduction

Hello ice creamers! Fall is kicking in. The crisp is in the air and the leaves are the perfect crunchiness. This is the time of year that I would make my mom a leaf bouquet when I was younger. Now fall tends to be a bit more stressful than looking for that perfect leaf. I did have fall break to recharge my batteries to settle in for the last push of the semester. This week I made a cranberry apple sorbet perfect for the season. It is called Yes I Cran! as a little play on words but also as one of those positive affirmations I can look at as I dig into this pint.

Introduction

Welcome back foodie friends! Fall is upon us, as much as I try to cling to summer. The leaves are falling and it is dark at like 7:00. I detest fall for the sole reason that it means my favorite, sun-soaked, ocean-filled season is over. But fall is beautiful in its own right. It is filled with nature’s best show, not to mention the best sleeping conditions, with crisp nights. I took a break from studying for exams (mostly my GRE, eek!) to make this week’s flavor. Ginger doodle is a gingersnap ice cream chock full of gingersnap cookie crumbs and speculoos cookie crumbs. It is filled to the brim with flavor, so keep reading!

Hi y’all. I am alive and so terribly sorry it has been so long since I shared some ice cream happiness! Allow me to share with you what I have been up to these past weeks. I went camping in Lake George with my family. It was a great time with lovely weather and warm campfires. Then I went to my other happy place; the beach. The water was just perfect and as usual, it was almost impossible for me to leave. All of a sudden, it was time for school. I know this is hard to believe but I have begun my senior year of college!
